GMA Major IT Upgrade

Please be advised that GMA and the Halton Hills Family Health Team will be undergoing a major IT system upgrade from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1, resulting in a disruption to our systems, including Online Appointment Booking, during this time.

On Friday, February 27, a physician will be on-site to provide a limited number of same-day appointments for GMA patients ON A WALK-IN BASIS. Patients will be seen in the order of arrival.
 
Please note that our phone system will also be unavailable during this time. If you require assistance from our staff, we kindly ask that you call us back on Monday, March 2.
 
The After Hours Clinic held at this location will not be affected and will operate as usual.
 
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.


PatientSERV

In February 2025, letters from PatientSERV were mailed to our patients. Effective February 5, 2025, we are partnering with PatientSERV, the Ontario Medical Association's partner for billing and uninsured services management (services not covered by OHIP).   

PatientSERV offers you a choice; you can continue to pay-as-you-go for uninsured services OR you can enroll in an annual plan that covers many uninsured services.

After Hours Clinic - Hours of Operation Update

Please be advised that the After Hours Clinic hours of operation will expand starting December 2, 2024:  

Mondays to Fridays:  5pm to 8pm
Saturdays:  9am to 3pm

The appointments remain first-come, first-serve. 



Physician Update

We would like to advise that Dr. Megan Collie will be leaving Georgetown Medical Associates to pursue other medical endeavours. However, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Ambreen Javed will be joining the clinic and taking over her practice!  
 
Dr. Javed is currently transitioning to GMA and is accepting new patients.  Please call the office to book an appointment!
